TELUS today announced it will be releasing the BlackBerry Torch 9800 on September 24th. The BlackBerry Torch will be the first to offer the new operating system, BlackBerry OS 6.0, featuring a redesigned interface, expanded messaging capabilities, enhanced multimedia experience and universal search feature. The BlackBerry Torch 9800 will pack 8 GB of media storage out-of-the-box (4GB onboard + 4GB memory card, expandable up to 32 GB, included), a 5.0 MP camera with multiple functions and video recording, built-in Wi-Fi (b/g/n) connectivity and GPS for location-based applications and geo-tagging.
